Our sweet beginnings
The Waffle Spot's journey began unexpectedly right here in Madera. I was a waitress at the restaurant that previously stood in this very spot. When COVID presented an opportunity to take over the business, we seized it. With faith and determination, we've grown successfully over the past six years, turning a challenge into a beloved local spot for the best waffles and chili verde in town.
Family at our heart
Beyond our amazing waffles, including our famous peanut butter banana and churro waffles, and our strong chili Verde game, what truly makes The Waffle Spot special is that it's family-run. My three kids make up half of our dedicated staff, and working alongside them is a joy. Even those who aren't blood relatives quickly become part of our extended family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

Our love for Madera, California, runs deep, and giving back to our community is a core part of who we are.
